Press Any Key to Start. Except that one.

I believe that games have three important aspects: interface, gameplay and theme/story. There’s no hard and fast rule for which is more important: Tetris has no story, Crusader Kings II has a messy interface, The Stanley Parable was light on gameplay — but they are all very popular. However, I think that the role of interfaces is generally underappreciated, so I’m starting this blog to see if I can explore what makes a good interface or visual design in video games and board games.
